When you think about your board, does it feel like a blessing?
Great boards can be a gift to an organization when members understand their role and create environments dedicated to serving the kingdom. Board service can also be a tremendous gift for the person serving when members have the freedom to offer their skills and lead with courage. With role clarity, healthy board composition, and invigorating communication, board service is a blessing to leaders and organizations.

Featuring - Pam Lilly
Consultant, Mission Increase
Pam Lilly is a spirit-led leader with over 15 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and donor development. She is passionate about helping ministries and their leaders grow and have a greater impact. Her experience in training nonprofit organization leaders in fundraising aligns with her spiritual gifts: leadership, teaching, and hospitality.
After a successful 20-year career in sales, marketing, and account management in the travel industry, Pam Lilly felt a divine calling to utilize her professional skills for a higher purpose. This led her on a journey into ministry, starting with church development and later transitioning to donor development with Faith Comes by Hearing. Her path led her to Cru, where she served as the Director of Development for StoryRunners, one of their global ministries. Pam's commitment to her calling is further evidenced by her ordination as a minister and her continued affiliation with Cru. She continues to serve on the StoryRunners’ Donor Advisory Council.
God later called her to Mission Increase to teach the fundamentals of biblical-based fundraising she had practiced. Pam served as an Area Director and played a pivotal role in launching Mission Increase in Houston. She came alongside over 85 ministry leaders, empowering them to develop the fundraising aspect of their calling through training, one-on-one coaching, and consulting. Pam's strategic approach and commitment to building effective systems have helped numerous organizations create successful fundraising plans or assess and maximize their existing growth models.
She takes the time to get to know you and your organization, its’ mission and vision, your desired impact, and pain points. She understands the giver, the fundraiser, and the fundamental principles that make fundraising successful and enjoyable. Clients benefit from her wisdom, discernment, and spiritual relationship with God. Pam is steeped in the Transformational Giving Principles and Mission Increases curriculum. She loves the one-on-one coaching and consulting experience. She also enjoys creating high-bonding events, which makes her natural for board retreats and strategic planning meetings. Pam believes fundraising is ministry and a sacred task that grows God’s kingdom.
Pam’s diverse skill set is a testimony to her versatility. She coaches high-impact leaders for The Master’s Program, serves on the Fellowship of Barnabas Partners board, and is a member of Houston’s Evangelism Team. Pam is the author of Mary Morning Martha Day and a contributing author in Sharing the Gospel: Good News on the Go. She is also a writer for YOU, a publication of Lifeway Christian Resources.
Pam and her husband of 33 years teach the kindergarten class at their church on Sundays. As the mother of three adult children and five grandchildren, Pam loves being with her family, cooking, baking, and traveling.
