At this Launch workshop, you’ll meet the new Mission Increase United Kingdom Team: National Director Mark Markiewicz, Area Director Lorne Campbell, and Director of Operations Mark Plummer. This team is excited to present a Biblical model of fundraising with the power to grow your ministry and your givers.   

By participating, you'll:  

• Practice skills to be used in meaningful one-on-one conversations with givers  
• Discover new ways of inviting more people into your work 
• Be resourced for developing a case for support 
• Network with local nonprofit leaders 
• Learn how to engage with MI United Kingdom in the future and access more fundraising tools  

Workshop materials will be provided and please stay afterwards for refreshments, as well. This workshop will benefit your entire team, so invite staff, board members, volunteers, and anyone who wants to learn a revolutionary approach to growing a ministry and championing a cause. This workshop — along with all future quarterly workshops, coaching, and consulting — will be offered at no cost to ministries in your community thanks to generous givers.

Featuring - Lorne Campbell

Area Director, MI UK

Lorne Campbell serves as the Area Director for Mission Increase in the United Kingdom. He has over thirty years experience in the nonprofit sector and has extensive experience in senior management and directorship roles within national charities. His expertise lies in fundraising, operational development, and people strategies. Lorne's commitment to community service is evident through his active involvement in various charitable organisations and youth work. He holds multiple qualifications in education, training, leadership, and human resource management, showcasing his dedication to continuous growth and improvement. Lorne values integrity and compassion in all his endeavours and his passion for creating a positive impact is a driving force in his life and career. He lives in Essex with his wife and four children. 

Featuring - Mark Plummer

Director of Operations, MI UK

Mark Plummer serves Mission Increase in the United Kingdom as the Director of Operations. Married to Jo for 27 years, father to Jack (23), Ed (21), and Evie (15), Mark is highly motivated to help people and organizations develop, change and grow towards greater effectiveness and success. In the economic development context through conferences, training & coaching, he has served more than 500 businesses and nonprofits globally. Mark enjoys working in teams, achieving shared goals and outcomes, and is highly motivated to take on challenges, affect change and make things happen. He enjoys all aspects of life in particular serving in the local church, cycling, travelling, cooking, reading and being an integral part of my close and extended family. Living as a missionary in Asia for 12 years has given Mark an appreciation for his own relative wealth, his birth country and its history and values, and taught him many things about faith, family and community.

Featuring - Mark Markiewicz

National Director, MI UK

Mark Markiewicz serves as the National Director for Mission Increase in the United Kingdom. He has spent twenty years as a missionary with Youth With A Mission, serving in the UK, Central Asia and USA. He served as a Discipleship Programme Leader, Field Director and lastly as the National Director for YWAM England. Since then he has served on numerous Ministry Boards and worked as the CEO of Christian Ministries in the UK and USA. His most recent role was serving as the CEO of Waverley Abbey Trust (CWR). Mark has a wealth of experience in leading Christian ministries as well as serving on their Boards. His commitment to Evangelism, Training and Mission means that he will be mission focussed whilst also understanding how to help Mission Increase thrive here in the UK. Mark has been married to Karen since 1995 and they have two grown sons. Karen recently completed her Masters Degree in Spiritual Formation Degree with Waverley Abbey College.
