OVERVIEW

Organizations lose around half their donor base each year. For your nonprofit to survive, you must be regularly inviting new people to the cause. Hosting an inspiring large-scale event can help your organization reach a wider audience where you can cultivate engagement with new people. Over the past two decades, Mission Increase’s model for large-scale events has helped thousands of leaders to invite new people, in addition to raise more money, grow existing champions, and build community through inspiring fundraising dinners.

This coaching cohort (group learning cohort) builds off the workshop and is packed with hands-on practice that will help you understand why you should hold a large-scale event and how to create a plan and use the principles for large-scale events. Gather to learn alongside other leaders in this cohort to:

  • Put together a Large-Scale Event Team
  • Brainstorm your guest list
  • Secure Table Sponsors
  • Recruit Table Hosts
  • Design a great program.
  • Construct a follow-up plan

COST

The cost to attend is $300 for ALL 4 sessions. We will allow 2 people from the same organization chapter to attend under one registration fee. Contact Jackie Peterman to add a guest or for questions about the guest policy.

Note: if you are unable to make a session, we will provide a link to recorded discussion. 

CAPACITY

We will be limiting capacity to 20 organizations. This will allow for more interaction with other participants as well as Q&A time.

Before joining the MI Specialized team, Kevin led as the Oregon Area Director for Mission Increase, where he impacted over 200 nonprofit organizations across the vibrant Portland/Vancouver area. With an impressive 30+ years of experience, Kevin has worn many hats in the nonprofit world—excelling in development, administration, education, communications, missions, and pastoral roles within both church and parachurch organizations.

Kevin’s academic background is just as dynamic: he holds a Bachelor of Arts from Life Pacific University and pursued his MBA at Azusa Pacific University. A passionate leader and mentor, Kevin brings energy, expertise, and a heart for transformation to every ministry he serves. He calls Clackamas, OR, home, where he and his wife, Kim, share life’s adventures with their three amazing children.
