Event Information

Is it difficult to ask people for money?
Does fundraising feel like a hurdle rather than an opportunity?

Join us for this session based on the principles of A Spirituality of Fundraising.

We will discuss and explore the implications of understanding fundraising as ministry and invitation rather than obligation or pressure.

This session invites leaders to reframe fundraising as a relational and spiritual practice grounded in trust, generosity, and shared purpose.

  • Please come prepared by having read the short book by Henri Nouwen prior to the session.
  • We would love to send you a copy of the book as a gift—just let us know the best address to mail it to.
  • If you prefer, the book is also available as an audiobook on Hoopla through the Chattanooga Public Library and is approximately one hour long.
Location Details

Our office is located in the back of the building closest to 45th street and Virginia. Parking is found in the rear of the building or on 45th Street. Please enter through the entrance located on 45th street - you will see signage near the basketball goal.
