OVERVIEW
Are you communicating with monthly givers in a way that develops and nurtures the relationship?
Too often, organizations create monthly giving programs but fail to consider how they will communicate with givers who have signed up. A thoughtful and intentional strategy is key to nurturing long-term relationships.
This cohort will offer you engaging discussion, practical resources, and on-the-spot practice that will help you to build an effective monthly giving program.
You will cover everything from the fundamentals of monthly giving to advanced donor engagement strategies, with a strong emphasis on practical, actionable communication techniques.
You will learn:
- How to create and develop a monthly giving program beyond a donate now button
- How to on-board new givers well
- Creation of monthly giving checklist
- How to nurture relationships through ongoing communication
- How to develop champion stories to tell through a monthly giving program
- How to grow monthly givers through Participation, Engagement and Ownership (PEO)
This cohort is specifically designed for Executive Directors, Development Directors, Communications Staff, and anyone who wants to create and grow their monthly donor program. Executive Directors, Development Directors, Communications Staff, and anyone involved in broad, organization-wide communications.

COST
The cost to attend is $300 total that includes BOTH sessions. We will allow 2 people from the same organization chapter to attend under one registration fee. Contact Jackie Peterman to add a guest or for questions about the guest policy.

Featuring - Kevin Whitman
Coach/Consultant, Mission Accelerate
Kevin is a consultant for Mission Accelerate. Prior to joining the team at MA, Kevin served as the Oregon Area Director for Mission Increase, serving over 200 non-profit organizations in the greater Portland/Vancouver area. He has over 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector including both church and parachurch organizations. He has enjoyed working in development, administration, education, communications, missions, and pastoral roles. He received a Bachelor of Arts Life Pacific University and pursued his MBA from Azusa Pacific University. Kevin lives in Clackamas, OR with his wife, Kim, and their three children.
